Our Story
In early 2001 our founder, Michael Bowen, made the decision to start Bowen's Bus Service, contracting with the Howard County Public School System . He started his company in August of 2001 with just one school bus, driven by himself. Two years later he acquired 3 more routes and drivers. From there we began growing our family of drivers and attendants.
In 2006 we incorporated and became Bowen's Bus Service, Inc.
Today, we operate 56 routes for Howard County Public Schools and numerous routes for local private schools. We provide charter services as well, to meet all of our customers needs. Our large fleet of well maintained, air conditioned buses & safe professional drivers are available to meet all of your transportation needs.
